We develop sustainable synthetic methodologies for traditional synthetic routes. We emphasize the use of green solvents, the reduction of the generated residues, and the reduction of the energy consumption of the processes. Among the reactions of interest, we focus on the heterogeneous catalysis using catalysts prepared from biomass- or microorganism-generated ligands. The studied reactions are evaluated using different Green Chemistry.
