Dr. Martín Villanueva graduated last April 13th, 2020, and was granted a CONICET postdoctoral fellowship to work in the group of Prof. Guillermo Montich at the Centro de Investigaciones en Química Biológica de Córdoba (CIQUIBIC). (04/2020)
Dr. John Pinzón Barrantes graduated last Nov. 26th, 2019, the PhD thesis title was ”Sistemas organizados formados por ciclodextrinas anfifílicas que revisten interés biomédico o farmacéutico” under the supervision of Dra. Raquel Vico, then was granted a CONICET postdoctoral fellowship to work in the group of Polymeric Materials in the IPQA (01/2020) )
Dr. Candelaria Bertolino graduated in December 2017, under the direction of Dr. Alejandro Granados. She is now a postdoctoral student in the Lab of Prof. Huskens, at the University of Twente, Netherlands (02/2018).
Dr. Claudio Krapacher graduated in April 18th, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Laura Rossi. Dr. Krapacher is now postdoctoral student in the Lab of Prof. Julio Zygadlo, at the IMBIV, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, (04/2018).
Dr. Erica Pachón Gómez obtained her PhD in Chemistry in April 19th, 2018, under the supervision of Dr. Mariana Fernandez. The PhD thesis title was: Self-assembled systems using gemini surfactants: synthesis, characterization and applications. She is now back in Bogota, Colombia, (05/2018)
Dr. Fabricio Politano graduated in August 1st, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Elba Buján. Dr. Politano was awarded with a Fulbright Fellowship to pursue a Master’s Degree under the supersivion of Prof. Nicholas Leadbeater, at the University of Connecticut. (09/2018).
Dr. Diana Pinilla Peña graduated in October 25th, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Laura Rossi. Her PhD tittle was Evaluation of the synthesis and use of Co- and Ni-complexes and the sulfoxidation reaction, from the green chemistry perspective.
Dr. Lady Catalina Cabana Saavedra graduated in November 20th, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Mariana Fernandez. Her PhD thesis was about Evaluation of new amphiphilic systems for the potential remediation of contaminated soil.
Dr. Lucas Agazzi graduated in November 20th, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Alejandro Granados. His PhD thesis tittle was Synthesis of precursors and polyfunctional molecules with interesting solvatochromic properties.
Dr. Virginia Lobatto graduated in December 5th, 2018, under the direction of Dr. Elba Buján. Her PhD thesis was about Photochemical degradation of pesticides. Effect of cyclodextrins.
Dr. Elba I. Buján retired from her Full-Professor position and as an Independent Scientist, last year (2018). Dr. Buján was the first PhD student at SuNaLab. In her more than 40 year’s career at UNC, she developed one of the pillar research lines within the group and trained successfully 6 PhD students and many undergrads and young scientists. She participated and organized more than 80 scientific meetings and published more than 40 papers in different peer-review journals. She was and still is an integral part of SuNaLab.
Dr. Noelia Machado graduated in March 21th, 2019, under the supervision of Dr. Mariana Fernandez. Her PhD thesis was about Design and characterization of amphiphilic systems as carriers for molecules of interest in different fields. Dr. Machado is now a postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant in the group of Estudios en química orgánica analítica. Dispositivos moleculares: diseño, síntesis y aplicaciones.
Dr. Francesca Judice finished her postdoctoral research work on Supramolecular chemistry and biomembrane models, y returned to Italy last June 1st, 2019.
MSc. Gaetano Caramazza completed his experimental work on the Construction of porous extended structures (MOFs) with environmental remediation applications, y returned to Italy last July 1st, 2019.
